Dear John,
This week, my effort to strike down the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for Montana healthcare workers, which was imposed by President Biden's administration, passed the U.S. Senate.
While I’m glad to see my effort pass, I’m extremely disappointed that my colleagues across the aisle opposed it.
The harmful federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers threatens to cripple our rural hospitals, impact patient care and intensify the worker shortage at our healthcare facilities.
While I am pro-vaccine, I am anti-mandate. We must work to support our healthcare heroes, not burden them with additional mandates.
I won’t stop fighting until all of the Biden administration’s overreaching mandates are overturned.
