Did you see my last email about Florida's anti-choice bill, friend? Things just got worse...

The Florida legislature just passed one of the country's most EXTREME abortion bans – and we only have HOURS left to stop Gov. DeSantis from signing it into law.

Reproductive health care decisions should be made between a patient and a doctor – not the government. That’s why I won’t stand by as the Republican Party tries to roll back the clock on reproductive freedoms by 50 years.

But this anti-choice bill is currently on its way to the governor's desk, and I need 50,000 concerned Americans to stand with me and President Biden by calling on Ron DeSantis to veto it.

This could be a dangerous tipping point for our nation, friend. Donald Trump packed the Supreme Court with far-right justices who now appear poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, threatening reproductive rights nationwide. And now several GOP-led states are passing measures to restrict access to abortion, including right here in Florida. What's worse: Republicans even rejected an exception for rape, incest and human trafficking.

But there's hope: Congress can pass pro-choice legislation that finally enshrines reproductive rights. I will always fight for reproductive rights, which is why I voted in the House to make Roe v. Wade the law of the land – but it will take a massive wave of grassroots support to overcome GOP opposition in the Senate.
