This month is Women’s History Month, a time when we reflect on all the contributions that women have made to our society.
In Miami-Dade County, we have a rich history of women leadership that has paved the way for people like me to pursue careers in business and in government.
Despite all the advances we’ve made, across the country, and especially in Florida, women’s rights continue to be under attack.
Just this week, the state legislature voted to move forward legislation that would restrict women’s freedoms and involve the government in deeply personal medical decisions involving reproductive health.
I’m committed to honoring the women that came before me and to speaking up for women’s rights when I’m in Tallahassee. But I need your help to get there.
