Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, running for reelection in PA-06 – a battleground Congressional district this midterm cycle. I am reaching out today to you directly and tell you a little bit about what I'm fighting for this year.

Serving this country is in my family legacy. I'm a third-generation military veteran, and I ran for Congress in part to continue this tradition of putting service before self. I didn't run in this battleground district because I thought it would be easy. On the contrary, I knew it would be hard – but I'm of the firm belief that hard things worth doing need doing.

This was my focus when I helped pass the American Rescue Plan. This was my focus when I helped pass the historic bipartisan infrastructure bill – and secured CRITICAL investments for our Commonwealth.

When I think about 2022 and what our country needs, I think about hardworking families all across our community – who deserve a leader that understands their struggles and fights for them, tooth and nail.

That’s why I’m running to defend this battleground district from the GOP. But right now, we’re facing an uphill battle – and the stakes are higher than ever, with our razor-thin House majority and top political analysts predicting a red wave come November.
