John,
Did you see the UN’s latest climate report?
It predicts that climate change is rapidly getting worse, and will cause devastating human suffering, unless we take immediate action.
This won’t be a shock to people here in the Central Valley - we’re already feeling the disastrous effects with warming temperatures, longer droughts and deadly wildfires.
Josh knows that climate change is an existential threat unless we get ahead of the crisis. That’s why he introduced a landmark piece of climate legislation (the FARM Act) to get every community involved in fighting back.
Will you add your name as a citizen co-sponsor of this legislation to help us fight back against climate change?
If we don’t get our act together now, the UN predicts we will see “unavoidable” consequences including deadly heat, more fires, worse floods, and severe drought. Many of these effects will be “irreversible” but they can still be prevented or mitigated with immediate action.
Josh’s climate bill will mean real action by providing our farmers with the critical funding they need to alleviate the impacts of climate change. By making sure farmers have the resources they need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air, water, and soil quality, and enact more sustainable farming practices, we can make a real difference right here at home in the fight to save our planet.
Will you add your name today as a citizen co-sponsor of the FARM Act?
The solution we need is to act!
