Fellow Conservative,
On Thursday, the House began day one of their public impeachment hearings, and liberals were anxiously awaiting for “the big reveal.” But as Adam Schiff lifted the curtains on his secretive impeachment process, there was nothing to show.
As The Hill put it, “...not much new was unearthed…”
There was no big reveal. No smoking gun. No Watergate 2.0.
We’ve all heard of buyer’s remorse, but by Thursday night, many House Democrats must have been feeling a lot of seller’s remorse. Without having the facts, they claimed impeachment was necessary, and sold their story to the American people. And now they have egg on their face—and they will, all the way through 2020.
What do Americans want?
A new Monmouth poll shows that nearly three fourths of Americans, 73%, have little to no trust in the House Democrats handling of their impeachment process.
The American people clearly don’t want or trust this impeachment inquiry. Americans want Congress to focus on the issues and legislate.
For instance, Congress still hasn’t funded the government for all of 2020; they were supposed to get this done by October 1—it’s now November 16. And every day they wait, it hurts our military’s ability to recruit, buy equipment, and conduct normal operations. #LegislateNotInvestigate
