Folks —

Sometimes it’s easy to feel worried about where we’re headed.

We’ve got so much important work ahead of us, from confirming a new Supreme Court justice, to continuing the push for legislation on important issues like health care, climate change, and education.

We’ve also got to protect our slim majority in the Senate since Republicans only need to flip one seat to halt our progress. And the fight is right at our doorstep here in Colorado — a recent poll shows Michael Bennet one point down in his re-election race.

But I’m a glass-half-full kind of person, and as an optimist, I know we can protect our majority and continue fighting to do better by Colorado families — we just need to work for it.

Don’t get me wrong, a healthy dose of optimism goes a long way. But what really gets me through each day is knowing that I’ve got a grassroots team behind me every step of the way. After all, it’s how I got here.

So folks, will you chip in whatever you can to help us protect and expand our Senate majority so we can keep the gavel out of Mitch McConnell’s hands and keep delivering for American families?

Thanks for your support — and for keeping my spirits bright, even when the work gets hard.
