Before we get too far into March, I wanted to make sure you're up to date on our plans for this momentous month – and that you can see how your support powers this campaign.
March is going to be big. Here's the plan (so far).
First – we're opening up our campaign headquarters this weekend! Thanks to the support of our donors, we've been able to sign a lease and bring on our field director Emily, who is already off to the races.
Second – our top priority this month will be gathering signatures to get Kara on the ballot. With campaign literature, clipboards, pens and petitions in hand – Emily is already organizing regular canvasses to collect signatures throughout the district and ramp up our grassroots efforts to win this race.
Third – Kara and our team are going to be on the road connecting with as many of our New York 1st neighbors as possible. Just this week, Kara's spending time in Plainview, Greenport, Hauppauge, and Brentwood!
That means knocking doors, hosting and attending events, and – most importantly – listening to what matters most to the people of this community.
We've gotten this far thanks to the generous support of grassroots supporters like you, John. But if we're going to make the most out of every single day during this critical month, we need your help continuing to ramp up our operation.
