Can you hear me now? I’ve been telling you this year was going to be different. Republicans are desperate to retake power in Congress and believe they have an opportunity to pick up a seat here in CT-05. They started signaling a ramp-up of their interest in our race from the earliest days of this election cycle.

Well, it’s happening. For the first time EVER, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has set up a headquarters in Connecticut, right in CT-05. Two days ago, Ronna McDaniel, the Chairwoman of the RNC, kicked off the grand opening, SETTING UP SHOP right in our front yard! Their new headquarters is in New Britain, Connecticut – the second largest city in our district. The headlines below tell you all you need to know about the national GOP’s focus on CT-05.

Couple that with the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) adding CT-05 to their “Young Guns” top races, and it is official. They are zeroed in on us this year.
