Today is the day! We need all of you to show up to vote for the #BallotofYes and John Bel Edwards!

Today is the day! Turn out to vote for the #BallotofYes and John Bel Edwards!

Today is Election Day, so we want to remind you to vote for all four ballot initiatives in the Ballot of Yes, for Governor John Bel Edwards, and Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s endorsed candidates for State Representative: Aimee Adatto Freeman ([link removed]) , Candace Newell ([link removed]) , and Matthew Willard ([link removed]) !

This morning, join Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Governor John Bel Edwards for a canvass launch ([link removed]) at 10 AM on Election Day!

When you go to vote, remember that Governor John Bel Edwards has got our back! He worked with Mayor LaToya Cantrell to address resource needs for our city's aging drainage and water systems. He committed $50 million from the state to jump start infrastructure improvements. Meanwhile, Eddie Rispone opposes help for New Orleans and testified against our fair share for infrastructure in the legislature. Governor Edwards understands that when New Orleans does well the state does even better! We are the pearl and Louisiana is the oyster.

Eddie Rispone is going around Louisiana actively campaigning against New Orleans. It’s one of the few things he’s willing to talk about, is how much he doesn’t like New Orleans.

Gov. Edwards has been a partner of the city of New Orleans since he took office in 2016. He’s worked closely with our elected leaders to do what’s best for New Orleans. He has listened, he has compromised, and he has kept his word to us. Our city is better off thanks to his partnership and leadership.

Additionally, don't forget to vote yes on all four ballot initiatives tomorrow! The #BallotofYes includes the Human Rights Commission Amendment, the Bond Sale, the Maintenance Fund and the Short-Term Rental Tax on Visitors, all of which will help our city thrive by funding infrastructure, affordable housing, maintenance and by strengthening our human rights laws. You can learn more about the #BallotofYes here ([link removed]) .

Polls are open until 8PM. Find your polling place here. ([link removed])
