John,
Last night, the Florida State Senate passed an unconstitutional 15-week abortion ban, and we expect that Gov. DeSantis will sign it into law next week.
John, just a few days ago Congress failed to pass protections for our constitutional right to an abortion — we can plainly see that our work to coach and elect prochoice champions at the state and local level is more critical than ever.
Florida remains one of our top priority states for just this reason, and in the wake of this abortion ban, we need to further expand our reach and our work. If you're able to help us fund our work in Florida, please contribute $15 or more.

Gov. DeSantis is also expected to pass legislation banning inclusive sex-ed curriculums that provide resources around sexual orientation and gender identity.
The GOP's work to specifically harm and exclude LGBTQ+ youth, in addition to banning abortion, is an absolutely unacceptable attempt to control our bodies. But there aren’t enough prochoice champions in the halls of power to stop these attacks on body autonomy.
We're fighting to change that. Help us elect prochoice champions in Florida with a gift of any size here.
When you donate to our work, you’re supporting champions like Allison Miller, one of our candidates in Florida who is running for State Attorney and has vowed never to prosecute patients or doctors seeking an abortion.
We need people like Allison fighting for reproductive freedom in Florida, and across the 28 other states positioned to ban abortion when Roe v. Wade falls this summer.
Thank you so much for being with us in this fight,
Sara Tabatabaie
