BREAKING: Legislation to save the USPS heads to the Senate floor for a vote!

Friend: After years of failed efforts to put the USPS on a sustainable path, we finally have an opportunity to defend the U.S. Postal Service! But we must keep up our grassroots pressure campaign to ensure that this legislation passes: Please, add your name before 11:59 p.m. to demand that the Senate swiftly pass this critical legislation!

For over 15 years, postal service reform has failed to reach the finish line - putting the USPS that so many rely on at-risk.

But now – with our Democratic majorities – Congress is finally taking action: The House has passed legislation to protect the USPS and it WILL BE VOTED ON BY THE SENATE ANY DAY! If passed, this legislation would create nearly $50 BILLION in savings for the Postal Service and ensure that the USPS will provide high-quality, reliable service for decades to come!

This is the moment that we've been working toward and organizing toward for so many months – signing petitions, answering grassroots polls, donating and so much more. This legislation is a culmination of all your hard work, and we cannot afford to let up the pressure now.

The Senate will vote on this legislation in the next few days, so we must act quickly. We ONLY reached this point because of relentless, passionate activism from people like you. Tonight, we need you to step up again to get this across the finish line and break through the gridlock in Congress.

We're still 429 signatures short of our goal, and we need to have all of these names in before midnight. So please, will you sign now to stand behind this legislation and demand that the Senate pass it immediately?
