If you have any doubts about how tough this race will be, look at what the Michigan GOP is doing right now.
It was reported that this is “the earliest” they have gone up with ads targeting an incumbent – a sign confirming that we know this is a toss up race.
This is just a fraction of the $3.5 million in attack ads that extremists are running to target Gretchen Whitmer. And we know that Governor Whitmer is a frequent target of the Republican Governors Association, which has spent $500,000 so far to attack her.
We can’t allow extremists to win here in Michigan, and that means we need to pick up the pace today.
