In her last race, Nina faced an onslaught of establishment money, including high rolling Republican donors. These groups spent over $2 million on ads alone and they spread vicious lies about Nina that ultimately led to her narrowly losing the special election by a few thousand votes.

Nina is the only candidate in the race pushing an economic, social and racial justice agenda that will truly address the needs of the American people. She is a lover and a fighter for the people. Because she knows what’s at stake, that it’s all on the line for the poor, the working poor and the barely middle class.
