Missy Pig Finds Her Place
Missy had a grim start to life. She spent her days alone in a pen-a nightmare for pigs, who are social and grow distressed without friends, space, and stimulation. She didn't like being penned up and ignored so, she broke free any chance she could. Instead of giving this mischievous girl the enrichment and attention she needed, Missy was slated for slaughter.
Missy had an ally, though, who saved her life.

The Legend of Glen Goat
No camping trip is complete without fireside tales of local legends-Bigfoot, Moth Man, and until last summer, Glen: a long-horned creature roaming a New York state park! Glen was an expert hider, even with his giant horns. Hikers reported seeing flashes of white. Others caught glimpses of him on the outskirts of town. But unlike mythical creatures, Glen was real. He was cautious and shy-and in desperate need of help.
