On behalf of Team DeSantis, thank you for your thoughts, prayers and well-wishes for the DeSantis family. The Governor and First Lady have personally read every single message of hope and support you have sent in the months since her diagnosis.
The First Lady has been brave and thoroughly optimistic throughout her battle. In fact, she took this challenge in stride and turned it into a mission to support children fighting cancer themselves. She frequently remarks that these children (and their parents) have been an inspiration in her own fight. She has been a vocal advocate for cancer research and early detection. Throughout everything, the First Lady continued to champion her initiatives, including the Hope Ambassadors program, the “The Facts, Your Future” campaign, among many others.
