Indivisibles,

Great news from Texas. Jessica Cisneros forced a historic runoff in Texas'
28th congressional district, and Greg Casar pulled out an incredible
outright win in Texas' 35th congressional district. After endorsing both
candidates, Indivisibles knocked on 2,300 doors, sent over 75,000 texts,
and your contributions led directly to bilingual campaign ads that reached
over 600,000 voters.

Your work changes the outcome of elections. Your voices shift the debate
on what’s possible. This is a proof of concept that your endorsements
matter. If you’re ready to have a similar impact in your community,

Greg Casar’s win is a victory for progressives from Austin to San Antonio.
He’s part of a new generation of progressive leaders who know that the
status quo is unacceptable, and he’s bringing the heart of an organizer to
Congress. Greg’s win, grounded in good jobs, fair wages, healthcare for
all, and an inclusive democracy that protects the right to vote, is a sign
of momentum progressives can carry forward in open races across the
country.

Jessica Cisneros was up against Henry Cuellar, a nine-term incumbent
congressman and the subject of a current FBI investigation. She used the
power of grassroots campaigning to force him into his first-ever runoff.
This is a massive win. Jessica is ready to defend our jobs, our
environment, and education for all against an incumbent more concerned
with corporate backers than the needs of the people of Texas. And she’s
well positioned to win in the runoff in May.

But, winning doesn’t come easy. Cuellar, the last anti-choice Democrat in
the House, entered this election with three times as much funding as
Cisneros (he’s largely funded by dark-money corporate PACs!). Yet, thanks
to the grassroots, they still came out neck and neck on Tuesday! To keep
up that surge, Jessica Cisneros is going to need to phone bank, text bank,
send mailers, run bilingual ads, knock on doors, and mobilize every last
bit of ground-level organizing so we can pull out a win in May. That’s
going to take nationwide grassroots contributions. [ [link removed] ]If you give $10 now,
we will split your funding between a direct donation to Jessica Cisneros’
campaign and support for our efforts to redouble our ground support for
her as well as our continuing support of Indivisibles across the country.

These wins in Texas are setting the stage to solidify progressive power in
Congress in November. Let’s keep this energy going and continue this
progressive push nationwide with [ [link removed] ]local endorsements from Indivisible
groups -- just like we did for Jessica Cisneros and Greg Casar -- along
with directing our support to progressive incumbents in vulnerable
districts, which you can learn about by [ [link removed] ]clicking here for the Give No
Ground Program. It’s going to take your continued action to push
progressives across the finish line and secure the future of our
democracy.

In solidarity,

Indivisible Team
