John, this is big – Donald Trump likely committed multiple crimes connected to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, according to a new court filing from the bipartisan January 6th House Select Committee. [1]
Sign Now: The Department of Justice (DOJ) must immediately investigate this critical new information, and if the evidence demands it, convene a grand jury to indict Trump >>
The House’s January 6th investigators just claimed to have evidence that Trump and his associates likely mounted a “criminal conspiracy” to defraud the United States by preventing Congress from certifying President Biden’s 2020 win. [2]
Their court filing details what the Select Committee calls its “good-faith basis” to believe Trump and others unlawfully spread dangerous disinformation about the integrity of our elections – and illegally pressured state officials and then-Vice President Mike Pence to throw out election results.
The DOJ cannot let these heinous allegations go uninvestigated. If you agree, add your name today.

John, it seems that every week, we hear yet another appalling allegation about Donald Trump’s conduct in office – but as of now, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has not publicized plans to investigate him or put him at serious risk of criminal charges.
Sign the Petition: Attorney General Merrick Garland and the DOJ must hold Trump accountable for his attempts to overthrow our democracy >>
Trump needs to face consequences for his role in the January 6th insurrection. He has been accused not only of inciting the deadly riot – but also of pressuring local election officials to falsify election results, lying in multiple courts of law about the integrity of our elections, and pushing the Department of Homeland Security and the DOJ to seize local voting machines. [3]
If Garland and the DOJ look the other way and decline to investigate these serious allegations – they’ll tacitly give Trump and future presidents a green light to abuse their power and violate this country’s bedrock principles.
Much of the DOJ’s work is done behind closed doors – so there may be efforts underway that the public doesn’t know about yet. But whether or not this is the case, Garland needs to hear that we’re counting on the DOJ to protect our democracy from Trump’s authoritarian agenda.
Add your name if you agree: the DOJ must launch a thorough and swift investigation into Donald Trump’s alleged criminal conduct.
The list of laws that Trump has been accused of violating is constantly growing longer.
Recently, he reportedly tried to hide 15 boxes of presidential papers, some of them marked “top secret,” by taking them to Mar-a-Lago. He also apparently used his personal cell phone to contact top allies in Congress during the January 6th insurrection – leaving no official record of White House calls, as required by law. [4]
And of course, Trump made headlines earlier this month for allegedly flushing White House documents down the toilet while in office. [5]
John, this isn’t about political optics or partisan vendettas. This is about pursuing justice – and protecting our democracy from anyone who would go to such lengths to undermine it.
