John, President Biden made his position loud and clear during this week’s State of the Union. He wants even MORE extreme funding for police.

He said this after 2021 was the deadliest year of police violence recorded.

He said this after promising action to families that have lost loved ones to police.

He said this after telling them to wait until he took office, then telling them to wait 100 days, then to wait until important offices were filled.

All of those moments came and went with next to no meaningful action. And now he wants to DOUBLE DOWN on police?

We already live in one of the most heavily policed nations on earth, and it does not make us any safer.

Our communities desperately need more investment in public health, education, housing, and services.

When communities have services, everyone is better off. People are safer.

But when there are more police on the streets, more people get killed. Full stop.
