John,
Last week, President Biden kept his promise made a year ago to date. He nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to our nation’s highest court.
Judge Jackson will make history as the first Black woman and the first public defender to serve on the Supreme Court, a long overdue milestone for our country.

This Women’s History Month, it’s vital that we not only reflect on the progress of the past, but continue to look forward to the progress still to come and the progress we must continue to work towards.
Nominating Judge Jackson is the first step in making our society more equitable for all women and our court more reflective of our country, but we can’t stop there.
We must commit ourselves to making sure that women, especially women of color, are represented in all levels and branches of government.
Add your name here to commend this historic step towards equity and join me in the continued fight for progress.
Thank you,
Carolyn
