Ed Markey for Senate
Team: Ed Markey is standing up to call on Mitch McConnell to allow a vote on commonsense gun safety legislation.

Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans have blocked all gun reform legislation while taking millions of dollars in campaign donations from the NRA.

Enough is enough. Sign the petition to call on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to allow a vote on commonsense gun safety legislation now.

Begin Forward from Ed Markey:
Team,

Yesterday, at the exact moment Democrats called for a vote on the universal gun background checks bill passed by the House, news broke of another mass shooting––this time at a California high school.

And then, Republicans blocked the vote.

We cannot continue to live with the bloodshed and death of mass shootings.

I am calling on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to stop blocking gun safety legislation. Join me and call for action now by signing our petition.

SIGN THE PETITION

Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans have blocked all gun reform legislation while taking millions of dollars in campaign donations from the NRA.

The majority of Americans support commonsense solutions to end gun violence. The only thing standing in our way are leaders who are in the pockets of gun manufacturers.

SIGN THE PETITION

In Massachusetts, we took matters into our own hands.

We identified the problems of gun violence, put our communities and public safety officers first, and passed gun reform laws.

We now have one of the lowest levels of gun deaths in the country. This is not a coincidence.

We need reforms at the national level, and Mitch McConnell must stop blocking commonsense solutions on behalf of the NRA.

If you agree, sign my petition and call on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to allow a vote on commonsense gun safety legislation now.

SIGN THE PETITION

Thanks for standing with me,

Ed
