Jack, everyone talks about Ellen Wilson – Woodrow Wilson’s wife – and she was indeed an incredible woman, but my favorite woman to uplift during Women’s History Month is Edith Wilson, his second wife.
Following President Wilson’s stroke, some historians speculate that she was the acting President of the United States for 17 months. I like a woman who knows how to get things done.
So, this Women’s History Month, as we remember those who fought the battles that brought us to where we are today, I want to take a moment for gratitude. I’m incredibly grateful to be a woman who holds office. I don’t take that for granted. It’s an honor to continue fighting for voting rights right here in New Mexico. Will you chip in $10 right now to help move our state forward in this critical election year?
