Team —

At midnight, we will be closing the books on our mid-quarter fundraising deadline. I'm being told we are still behind on our goal, which is why I'm reaching out with the hope that you can help. But before I ask you to chip in, I want to let you know why this deadline is important:

As you know, I'm doing everything I can to make sure Democrats in key Senate races across the country get the support they need to win. And folks like you have been critical in what we’ve accomplished so far.

Together, we have raised thousands in small-dollar, grassroots contributions for candidates like Amy McGrath, Tina Smith, Gary Peters, Doug Jones, and more.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding more names to the list to help as many Democrats as possible and finally take back the Senate. But this sort of work requires a heck of a lot of resources, which is how my team sets fundraising goals just like the one we’re facing at midnight.

When we hit or miss a target, it impacts how much time I get to spend campaigning for Democratic candidates up and down the ticket. And I'll be honest: I would much rather be doing that than dialing for dollars or worrying about our numbers.

So, here comes the part where I ask for your help:

Can you add an emergency contribution of $10 or more to get us back on track for our mid-quarter goal? The deadline is at midnight, so I need your help right now. If we can catch up in the next few hours, we'll be in a position to hit our fundraising goal and continue our work to flip the Senate.

I can always count on the responses to these messages being really great, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your help.

Thank you.
