Friend,
With political experts at FiveThirtyEight predicting that Republicans might sweep the House in 2022, we wanted to reach out with more information about Chrissy's FIVE Republican opponents (and what's at stake in these midterm elections):
There's virulent anti-abortion sentiment: Regina Mauro has disputed the claim that reproductive care is health care. Then there's opposition to universal vote-by-mail: Ron Vogel thinks that this practice, which would ensure that more Pennsylvanians have the opportunity to vote, is "unconstitutional." And Regina Mauro describes those from states with fairer voting laws as "swamp critters."
But that's not even the tip of the iceberg, friend ... far from it.
As with many in her party, Regina Mauro has circulated conspiracy theory sentiment regarding the 2020 election. And she has been shameless in repeating and underscoring the "Big Lie" that the 2020 election was stolen.
If that wasn't enough, Chrissy's opponents have expressed strong anti-LGBTQ and anti-science views and disputed the science behind COVID-19 restrictions which saved lives. These views aren't a "matter of opinion," friend – they endanger the lives of countless Pennsylvanians whom elected officials like Chrissy are supposed to serve.
While Chrissy has dedicated her life to service and science, working as an engineer in the Air Force and as an 11th grade chemistry teacher, her opponents are committed to peddling anti-science, anti-human rights conspiracy theories. That's why we need grassroots supporters like you to make sure Chrissy has the resources she needs to defend this seat – and the House – from these attacks:
