On Tuesday night, we heard President Biden speak to the nation during his State of the Union address.
I appreciate the President’s leadership to address the issues important to working-class Americans, including a plan to fight inflation and making it a priority to get increasing costs under control.
In case you missed it, after his address, I was able to personally thank the President for signing into law the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that will benefit the steel industry in our district and improve Northwest Indiana’s economy.
I also expressed my thanks for the COVID-19 relief provided by the American Rescue Plan, which has been a tremendous help for our communities.
I look forward to continuing to work in Congress to achieve success to address our inflation challenges, support the American steel industry, and grow our economy with good-paying jobs.
