This week, President Biden delivered his first State of the Union Address since taking office and if there’s one thing that’s clear from his message, it’s that America is on the move.

More than ever, we’re investing in competitiveness at home, investing in early childhood education programs, taking meaningful action to address roads, bridges, and highways in disrepair, and last year alone over 6.4 million jobs were created.

The President is right: this is our opportunity to meet the moment. We can’t back down. We must be united because there is more work to be done.

The power of a united country lies in its people. It’s why we believe in defending our democracy, protecting, and expanding voting rights, making our tax system fairer, addressing the opioid epidemic head-on, and it’s why we fight each day to create opportunities for growth and prosperity.

America is at its best when we are unified not just in our mission but our ideals. The only way we can get there is together.
