Cuba, MO – Former Missouri governor and Navy SEAL Eric Greitens joined the People’s Convoy earlier this week to rally with freedom-loving patriots who are on their way to Washington, DC to take a stand against overbearing mandates. The former Missouri Governor said he’s advocating for freedom of choice to mask and vaccinate. We asked him how trucker’s licenses and seat belt laws were different from mask mandates.

“I think the difference is very clear. The left has abandoned science. This is simply an imposition of tyranny. They’re not even pretending at this point to look at and follow the data,” Greitens said.

Cross-country trucker protest against vaccine mandates rolls through Missouri

“You know what scares the Left?” [Greitens] immediately asked the crowd. “You do. You know what scares tyrants? You do. You know what scares the mainstream media with all their lies? We do. Let everybody know that we are here to take our country back.”

Asked in an interview about his speech, Greitens said the Left, which tries to silence people, is beyond party affiliation.

“We are talking about Leftism as a tyrannical movement,” he said. “And that’s why all these people are here. It’s freedom vs. tyranny.”
