Dear Friends, 
 
Like you, I am concerned about the ongoing situation in Ukraine. President Putin authorized an unprovoked invasion into a peaceful and independent nation. We cannot let this stand and must band together with our allies to make it unequivocally clear that there will be consequences for Russia’s actions.  
 
As your Representative in the United States Congress, I want to hear from you: 

Do you think Congress and President Biden should be doing more to support Ukraine and deter Russian aggression?

As a concerned American and a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, I have been closely tracking the rapidly evolving situation. I fully support strong sanctions against Russia and the full backing of our allies to weaken Putin’s influence and aggression.  
 
President Putin can’t be allowed to attack an independent, democratic country without repercussions. I believe President Franklin D. Roosevelt said it best “Suppose my neighbor’s home catches fire, and I have a length of garden hose… if he can take my garden hose and connect it up with his hydrant, I may help him put out his fire.” We must apply this same perspective on the international stage and lend our full support and strength to Ukraine as they fight to rebuff Russian forces in their home.
