One of our pillars of democracy has always been our right to public discourse and dissent. This has been at the root of so much of what those who came before us fought for. Their work, now ours, means getting our hands dirty excavating the paths we’ve taken as well as the ground before us, looking for answers and making way.

As it has been before, fighting for equity and dignity means rolling our sleeves up to our elbows to sift through misinformation and disinformation in search of the good old truth. The fact that it’s often buried under mountains of conspiracy means digging so deep that both sides share responsibility in creating trenches that seem impossible to cross.
