Team,

I’m not usually pro-unemployment.

But when it comes to my (virtual) guest to last night’s State of the Union Address by President Biden, I’m all for it. If you haven’t met her, let me introduce you to Patty, a soon-to-be-unemployed pothole.

If you’re not familiar with Patty specifically, you’ve probably run into someone like her. Potholes have been a big problem for Virginia drivers, for far too long.

The new infrastructure law, passed by Congress and signed into law by President Biden last fall, will change all that. By better funding our roads, bridges, and other transit systems, we will protect drivers – and save Virginians money at the same time.

I’m proud of the progress Senate Democrats have made this year to invest in our infrastructure and support our communities. Chip in $5 now to reelect our Democratic Senate majority and keep building on our progress. [link removed]

Thank you,

Mark Warner
