Brooklyn Young Democrats is staying busy this election cycle, and we wanted to provide you with a few updates and announcements.
With petitioning season underway, we wanted to let you know about two exciting opportunities coming up this month to get involved with BYD and help our endorsed candidates over the finish line this June!

"Congratulations to Christina, who is keeping up the fight for voting rights nationwide. I am honored to serve Brooklyn Young Democrats, my political home, as President, alongside a dynamic board of young people who represent every corner of Brooklyn. BYD has been at the forefront of Brooklyn's most crucial political moments in recent memory. When New York was fighting for a true Democratic majority in 2018, BYD was on the frontlines for Senator Zellnor Myrie and Senator Andrew Gounardes. When the pandemic hit in the middle of the 2020 election cycle, BYD adapted quickly with our endorsed candidates to ensure safe political engagement with voters and shed light on unsafe efforts to boot candidates off the ballot. Our Young Dems will always be committed to a belief in a more equitable borough and continue to lead the way for Brooklyn's progress. We look forward to a great year of organizing for dynamic candidates and expanding the pipeline of young progressive leaders who will continue to
move the politics of the borough forward."
