Candidate Spotlight

Early last month, North Carolina's new Congressional map was struck down by the state Supreme Court because districts were drawn to favor the GOP. In spite of this gerrymandering, a candidate we endorsed for Congress has kept his campaign on the march, and the new district he's running to represent is one President Biden won with 53% of the vote in 2020.

Don Davis is an Air Force veteran and public servant through and through. After leaving the military, he became the youngest mayor of his hometown at age 29. He's served six terms in the state Senate, and we're hopeful he'll bring his track record of servant leadership to Washington later this year.
