Dear John, Saugus High School. Gilroy. El Paso. Dayton. We're suffering shooting after shooting — and still no legislative action. It's been more than 260 days since gun safety legislation landed on McConnell's desk. In that time, more than 26,000 people in America have been killed by gun violence. The 100 people who are killed by guns each day and nearly 40,000 who are killed each year aren’t just statistics. They are children who never come home from school.
