Hi John,
We released some fun stuff late yesterday afternoon designed to make your life easier! As with all of our new features, these were chosen, brainstormed, and paid for by our Development Partners at the AFL-CIO, Daily Kos, and the DNC — more on that process here.
Save & Count Queries
Instead of pulling a report on a query to get a number, now you can easily save and count your query from the edit page! Efficiencies abound!
Pause Ladders
There are key moments in your digital program when you may not want your subscribers to get your automated welcome series or reactivation emails. Now you can pause your ladders and then unpause them when you’d like to resume messaging. Note that pausing a ladder pauses the wait steps in that ladder. Learn more here.
Custom Scripts for Actions
You can now more easily add custom javascript or HTML to actions via a new box on the Share Options tab. This is great for advanced tracking and customization! Learn more here.
Other updates worth noting:
-
You can now track and target by mobile carrier (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.). Extra fees apply, which you can learn more about here.
-
We now support Canadian Federal and Provincial districts! All Canadian addresses will backfill.
We hope you enjoy these new updates! Check out our release notes to follow along with what’s new on Action Network. Have a question or comment? Feel free to reply to this email, and I’ll get back to you.
Take care,
Mari Vangen

PS — We got feedback that folks didn’t like the target icon on petitions, so we removed it. Thanks to everyone who reached out about it!
