Friend, when I was first elected in 1992, having just six Democratic women serving in the Senate was historic. Now, I serve alongside 15 other trail-blazing Democratic women, including the first and only Latina to serve in the Senate – Catherine Cortez Masto.

Catherine is a vital partner of mine in the Senate and we truly cannot afford to lose her critical voice. I’ve seen her in action. She is a champion for working families, a leader in building a green economy and a fierce defender of women’s reproductive rights.

But I’m worried, friend: Catherine was ranked as “the most vulnerable senator” in the country and polling shows her trailing her Trump-endorsed opponent by 3 points. That’s why I’m personally asking you to rush $5 right now to help defend Catherine and our Senate majority.

Mitch McConnell only needs ONE seat to retake the majority. So if Catherine loses, Republicans will flip the Senate and McConnell will have complete and total power to block ALL progress on our shared values. 

I just got off the phone with Catherine and she told me that GOP outside groups have already spent over $4 MILLION to defeat her. So I’ve launched an emergency $10,000 fundraising goal for today to protect Catherine and our Senate majority.

Please, friend, we cannot let the GOP defeat Catherine, not with so much on the line. Make a contribution of $5 before midnight tonight to win in Nevada and defend our Senate majority.
