After watching the State of the Union address last night, I have a few reactions.

First, the dire possibility of nuclear war with Russia should have been front and center, along with diplomatic solutions to avert it.

Second, I agree we should beat the opioid epidemic. However, doing so would require enacting Medicare for All and putting Biden’s pharma donors out of business.

Third, the cost of insulin is indeed too high, but it shouldn’t be $35 — it should be $0.

Fourth, the economy hasn't roared back for the 1 in 5 kids who are hungry, the 1 in 2 Americans who are poor/low-income, or the millions who can't afford their rent or mortgage.

Fifth, where’s the plan to house the 600,000 people who are homeless in this country?
