Don’t let Nancy Pelosi’s calm demeanor fool you—she’s scrambling now after
watching Schiff and his Democrat co-conspirators lay an egg on Wednesday as
the impeachment inquiry went public.
By Friday, the Democrats have so far delivered a nothingburger to the American
people. (Most Americans still think real evidence determines trial outcomes, not hearsay and opinions.)
Which is why master spin doctor Pelosi is now working behind the scenes,
directing a new strategy for Democrats that shifts the focus of their impeachment
narrative to “attempted” crimes since their original narrative of actual crimes could not stand up against the tough questioning from House Republicans.
One senior House Democrat aide told Breitbart News, “It was a total disaster for
us.”
“It’s hearsay,” Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) said of Taylor’s testimony. “It’s really
difficult dealing with this because it’s he said-she said.”
Because neither of the star witness’s testimony on Wednesday could outline any
coherent case of wrongdoing by the President, Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio shredded
them with ridicule.
But Jordan wasn’t the only all-star—almost the entire team of House Republicans
participating in the hearings delivered a unified counternarrative that turned the
Democrats already flimsy narrative into swiss cheese.
So now the Democrats are moving the goal posts, and their establishment media
cheerleaders are falling in line with this new narrative of “attempted” bribery and
extortion. The new talking point is already being used now by Democrats like
Rep. Joaquin Castro of Texas, who compared Trump’s alleged actions to
attempted murder.
Ann Coulter tweeted this response to an NYU Law Professor who appears to
agree with Castro.

Democrats are already frantic after only their first day of public hearings. They
would be grasping at straws if they had not already made them illegal.
So today, we are getting a second round of public hearings. One person who is
scheduled to testify and is someone you should pay close attention to is former
U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch. She is considered Friday’s
“biggest” witness.
