The single most important thing that Oklahomans and all Americans needed to hear last night, during President Biden’s State of the Union, was the president committing to energy independence.

President Biden should have announced the relaunching of the Keystone Pipeline and the reversal of job-killing energy policies he put in place on Day 1 of his presidency, but instead he barely mentioned U.S. energy production at all! Instead, he doubled down on every bad policy that his administration has implemented in the past 13 months.

Instead of committing to a stronger America, Biden committed to spending even more federal tax dollars, increasing our deficits, and causing further inflationary pressure on American families.

Oklahomans deserve better. Hardworking men and women just trying to take care of their families are crying out for help, and their Democrat-led government is ignoring them.

I AM committed to Oklahomans and Americans, and I will continue the fight every single day in Washington to helping them. We need to reopen the Keystone Pipeline, and continue to grow energy production in the United States.
