Dear Fellow American,

This afternoon, the Senate GOP forced another show vote against the vaccine mandate which they knew could not pass into law.

The good news is that there are enough GOP Senators willing to vote against the vaccine mandate that if they were serious, it could be defunded.

Also, it is good news that you have made the GOP members of Congress so scared about voting to fund the vaccine mandates that they are having meaningless votes every week so they can pretend they tried to stop them.

The bad news is that nothing they have done to date has accomplished anything.

The GOP in the Senate has one way to stop the Biden vaccine mandates – prohibit the Biden administration from spending one penny to enforce the mandates.

That is the Constitutional power of the purse.  It is what the founding Fathers intended as the powerful weapon Congress had in stopping an out of control Executive Branch.

Every member of Congress knows this.  Every Senator knows the power that lies in their hands.  All it takes if for 41 Senators to tell Mitch McConnell that they will not vote for legislation that funds the enforcement of the vaccine mandates.

And for that to happen, I need you, once again, to let your House member and two Senators know that you expect them to refuse to fund the vaccine mandates. It is as simple as that. No questions, no confusion.

You have done so much in this fight to date. We have poured 25 million emails into Congress over the past few weeks.  But now we need to do it one more time.

Please share this with your friends and everyone else you can think of. We have to wake up the GOP so they understand that they have to do more than have fake votes to provide political cover. They have to actually use their power to stop the funding of the vaccine mandates. Nothing else is acceptable.

The Republican Party has aggressively raised money against the vaccine mandates, now they need to show they mean it.

Thank you, together we can win.

Sincerely,

Rick Manning
