First, I wanted to say thank you for supporting me. Because of people like you, we hit our goal for February. Every goal we set until the election is critical to our mission of holding the House Democratic majority.

Thanks to your support, I can keep my focus on what’s happening in Congress and on lifting up Sacramento County.

Last night, we watched President Biden’s State of the Union address. In it, he highlighted the need for us all to come together and fight for working families.

I agree, which is why I am proud to have helped pass the American Rescue Plan and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and to continue to get funding for our region’s projects.

I am also proud to have helped pass the America COMPETES Act, which is currently being negotiated in the Senate.

This bill will provide a huge boost for U.S. science funding and ensure we remain competitive with China.

John: We’re making progress, but still have more work to do. That’s why I’m so concerned about keeping and expanding our Democratic majority. If Republicans pick up 4 wins in the House and 1 in the Senate, they will win the majority and President Biden’s agenda will come to a halt.
