Gov. Kim Reynolds delivers GOP response to Biden's SOTU address
Per Fox News:
Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds delivered the Republican response to President
Biden's first State of the Union address this week, slamming him on
everything from inflation and surging crime within the country to the
numerous international crises he has struggled to deal with. Gov.
Reynolds: "Instead of moving America forward, it feels like President
Biden and his party have sent us back in time to the late '70s and
early '80s."
The Results Are In For President Biden's First Year
Per NPR:
A series of serious crises at home and abroad, like rising inflation and
the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, have resulted in Americans giving
President Biden very poor marks for his first year in office. In a new
NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, 56% of respondents said President
Biden's first term was a failure while only 39% said it was a success.
Troubling Numbers from the Southern Border
Fox News:
According to a Department of Homeland Security official, around 220,000
illegal immigrants have evaded Border Patrol officers since October -
during months which are usually slow for border crossings. This new data
paints a grimmer picture of an already out of control situation at the
border, and shines a light on the Biden Administration's lasting
inability to address the crisis.
