John, it's Women's History Month and while we have a lot to celebrate, we also need to address an important issue. Most of us were taught that the United States was the best country in the world, and #1 in everything that mattered. Then we had a rude awakening. Because when it comes to gender equity, the U.S. isn’t even in the top 10 – not even close. 

Did we miss something? Because if we’re #1 in everything that matters, then we’ve got two options: 

1. We were lied to, OR 
2. Political rights and representation for women just aren’t that important!

And John: There’s only one right answer.
