Team,

Last night I saw President Biden deliver his first State of the Union address – and I could not be prouder of how far we have come since Donald Trump’s disgraceful exit from the White House.

Standing in the very same building that was attacked by anti-democratic forces only 14 months ago, the President showed us America’s resilience and how we will continue to move forward under leadership that is empathetic and willing to uplift rather than divide.

President Biden’s priority once sworn in was to get our economy back on track. A little over a year later, millions of jobs have returned, the unemployment rate is near pre-pandemic levels, and our economy is growing at a rate not seen in years.

While on the campaign trail the President made a pledge that he would heal our economy once in the White House. And friends, he delivered.

On the COVID front, although we may not have fully eradicated the disease, under Democratic leadership we are finally feeling a level of normalcy we have not felt in over two years. The Biden administration trusted science , ensured vaccines are widely available to every American, provided free at-home test kits (and more to come!), and continues to invest in antiviral treatments. The President worked to ensure families were supported (particularly our poorest children) during the worst of the pandemic with stimulus funding and a child tax credit to families.

With President Biden’s leadership, America will be prepared for whatever COVID throws our way, and we will persevere .

And under Democratic leadership, we’ve united the world to confront, not embrace, the threat of authoritarianism we currently face in Europe and around the world.

President Biden and his team will continue to unite and not divide our allies, while fighting for democratic values abroad and at home.

Friends, like I said, we have come a very long way in the past 14 months. We must maintain this momentum, and we must hold our congressional majorities this November – but we cannot do that without you by our side. Will you contribute whatever you can today and join us in continuing to heal our country after four divisive and tumultuous years of Trump? [[link removed]]
