Last night’s gala—the culminating event of our 50th anniversary—was quite a celebration of where CLASP has been, what we’ve accomplished, and where we’re headed. We welcomed an overflow crowd to the sold-out event that featured prominent speakers including Ai-jen Poo, co-founder and executive director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, U.S. Representative Donna Shalala, Lisa Hamilton, president and CEO of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Janet Murguía, president and CEO of UnidosUS, and Dariel Vasquez, founder and director of Brothers at Bard.
