Last night we saw President Biden deliver his first State of the Union address – and friends, we have come a very long way from where we were just over a year ago.

After 4 tumultuous and divisive years of Donald Trump in the White House, President Biden showed us that under strong Democratic leadership, we can continue to lead the global economy, fight our way out of a pandemic, and uphold democratic values worldwide.

When the Biden Administration walked into the White House, the President’s priority was to get our economy back on track. In the past year, Democrats sent economic relief to millions of struggling Americans, jobs have returned, unemployment is near pre-pandemic levels, and the economy is growing at a rate not seen in years.

Our economy is back on track because President Biden delivered.

Under Democratic leadership, we are finally nearing normality because we trusted science. The Biden Administration listened to experts, ensured vaccines are widely available, provided at-home test kits, and will continue to invest in treatment such as anti-viral COVID pills.

President Biden reaffirmed that no matter what COVID throws our way, America will be ready, and we will persevere.

And under Democratic leadership, America united the world to confront, not embrace, the threat of authoritarianism we currently face in Europe and around the world.

The Biden Administration will continue to keep fighting for democratic values abroad and at home.

We have a long way to go – but we are moving forward. And to maintain this momentum, we must hold our majorities in the House and in the Senate this November.
