I’m with President Biden today talking about historic investments in our infrastructure that will create jobs and lower prices for working families, and I wanted to send over a few updates.

First, I wanted to let you know that this incredible grassroots team pulled through and we exceeded our February fundraising goals. We couldn’t have done it without you, and it gives us the early investment that we need to mobilize voters to protect our Democratic majority in the midterm elections.

Second, as we prepare for a busy several months ahead of us, I want to take a moment to recognize Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s historic nomination to the Supreme Court. Not only is she exceptionally well-qualified, if confirmed she would be the first Black woman and first former federal public defender on the Supreme Court.

Voting on a Supreme Court nomination is one of my most important responsibilities as a United States Senator, and as I review Judge Jackson’s record, I am committed to confirming a Justice who will defend the constitutional and civil rights of all Americans.

Finally, President Biden’s State of the Union speech was excellent, and I encourage you to watch it if you haven’t already. President Biden is bringing the country together, showing courage and resolute leadership, from condemning Putin’s attacks on Ukraine to laying out a plan to aggressively tackle inflation.

Elections matter, and last night showed unequivocally that we are in a better place as a country than before President Biden took office with our newly-won Democratic majorities.

I’m more motivated than ever to keep fighting for progress, working together to solve the country’s problems, and serving the great people of Minnesota.
