I want to talk with you about President Biden's message for America.

Last night's State of the Union Address came at a consequential time for America. We're facing a war in Ukraine, sky-rocketing costs for working families, a worsening mental health crisis, and a nation more polarized than ever before.

It doesn't matter where you live, who you vote for, or what you believe in — we are in this together. President Biden is urging not just Congress, but ALL Americans, to build bridges across our differences to tackle our nation's biggest issues.

We did that when we passed the greatest investment in American infrastructure in a generation and we will see the benefits of this legislation in Philadelphia and around this country for decades. But we can't stop there.

We need to expand Medicare, defend our democracy, cut costs for working people and work to lower prescription drug prices like insulin. I want to know what your priorities are moving forward, John, which is why I had my team put together a survey so I know exactly what your needs are as we move forward.
