While President Biden is dealing with the Ukraine crisis and shepherding a historic Supreme Court nominee towards confirmation, a former Big Pharma executive at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services chose to stab him in the back. President Biden should fire her.

Here’s what happened: Instead of ending Trump’s Medicare privatization experiment, Liz Fowler (a former Big Pharma executive) chose to re-brand it. But changing the name doesn't change the fact that the Direct Contracting program is backdoor privatization of Medicare. Whether they’re called DCEs or ACOs, they are incentivized to deny and delay care as much as possible. And they are a betrayal of Medicare’s universal promise to seniors.

Tell President Biden: Fire Liz Fowler!

This dangerous experiment must be stopped before it further harms the health of vulnerable seniors, eats into the Medicare Trust Fund, and destroys traditional Medicare. Liz Fowler must be replaced with someone who will fight to keep Medicare’s promise, not betray it.
