John,

I wanted to make sure you saw the op-ed I wrote in CNN about the need to ban Members of Congress from trading stocks while serving in office.
[link removed]? [[link removed]?]When I first ran for Congress in 2017, I stopped trading stocks because I wanted voters to know I was working for them -- not for my own financial interest.

There was no law requiring me to do so, but right now I believe it's time to require all of my colleagues in Congress to take similar steps. That’s why I strongly support legislation like the bipartisan Ban Conflicted Trading Act so we can restore trust in the direction of our democracy.

Take a minute to read my Op-ed, and if you can, contribute $3 so I can continue fighting for transparency and good governance in Congress. [[link removed]]

Thanks for your support,

Mike
