At a time when we should be united, Lauren Boebert chose to divide us.

During a somber moment in last night’s State of the Union when the President was honoring the sacrifices of our service members, Lauren Boebert took it upon herself to sow politics and interrupt the speech.

It was inappropriate, and it was deeply shameful.

Boebert doesn’t understand the service and the sacrifices of those in uniform. I do. I served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I saw men and women put their lives on the line every day to defend our country.

Coloradans deserve leaders who understand the issues and will work to deliver results. Boebert is not that person.

We need to continue fighting to hold far-right extremists accountable and deliver results for fellow Coloradans. Will you pitch in to help me make that happen?
